Happy new year! I wanted to write about a lovely winter wedding I have done recently at Berwick Lodge.

Firstly, congratulations to the gorgeous bride Jade and her new husband! They tied the knot just before Christmas in the fantastic Victorian mansion hotel near Bristol, which was the perfect venue for a winter wedding with twinkling lights and roaring log fires.

I was so thrilled when Jade asked me to do her wedding hair and the hair styles for all her bridesmaids as well. A few weeks before the big day Jade and her friends and sister came to my hair and makeup studio in Bristol for a hair trial. It was a great opportunity to get creative and try out different looks. The girls all came with hair inspiration pictures (and some prosecco!) and I worked with their ideas to ensure everyone was delighted with their individual styles. It was a really fun day and a great way to meet up before the wedding.

On the morning of the wedding I used red and white fresh flowers in the bridesmaid's hair and Jade wore a sparkly comb, dressed to the side and her I attached her veil at the crown. We decided to go for vintage inspired waves with a side parting for Jade's beautiful long red hair and as you can see she looks absolutely stunning!
