At the beginning of February we in the West Country had quite a bit of snow! It was also the time when Emma and Stew tied the knot. It was perhaps the most lovely winter wedding with freshly fallen snow and and stunning blue skies. The wedding venue was the cosy and intimate Manor House Hotel in Moreton in Marsh, near Tetbury.
I met Emma a few months before her wedding day when she came to my studio for her bridal hair and makeup trial. We had such a great time, and Emma is a natural beauty so I applied a very light makeup. I used a little Chanel Vitalumiere foundation, with slightly sparkly Bobbi Brown eyeshadow and Clinque Defining Nudes blush on her cheeks. I used Bobbi Brown balm on her lips for a lovely natural looking pout.
I styled Emma's hair using a conical wand for a natural curl, and dressed into a loose side bun with tendrils around her face. Emma found a very elegant sparkly comb which worked beautifully in the hair style and I'm sure twinkled gently by the candlelight.
Emma had some lovely bridesmaids and her best friend was her maid of honour. Each of the girls had their own individual look and I styled their hair and makeup according to their own preferences.
As you can see Emma and Stew make a wonderful couple. It was such an honour to be part of their day.
